The SG Shochu line seeks to expand the category of Honkaku Shochu (single-distilled shochu) to a wider array of spirits enthusiasts, by partnering with acclaimed distilleries in Kyushu. These genshu (undiluted) expressions showcase the full range of flavors inherent to each style and are provided so that bartenders can expand their palates through the wonderful world of shochu. Get notes of passionfruit, cacao nibs, and buttered toast in this classic Oita-style mugi (barley) shochu. Made in partnership with Sanwa Shurui, maker of the highly popular Iichiko shochu. This would be great for infusions or used in a sour – think mezcal combos instead of whisky substitutes.
