Sake and Shochu Gumi

Natsuzake (summer sakes) are all the rage in recent years. Although sake is usually released in the winter, breweries are releasing limited summer styles more frequently. Natsuzakes tend to be light, crisp, and lower in alcohol.

Shichida's Natsujun is meant to be enjoyed under the shade on a hot day. This summer version still carries the Shichida torch of being full of umami, but is reminiscent of the cool ocean breeze with notes of pear and a clean finish. These bottles are super limited, so they'll be as fleeting as our Indian summer.
