Sake and Shochu Talk

We are proud to welcome Mosswood Distillery of Berkeley California, for a special spirits tasting of its newly released whiskey aged in ume barrel casks.

Mosswood blends two different whiskeys with bourbon and rye mashes, which rests in umeshu barrels for four months. The umeshu cask is an ex-bourbon barrel (American oak) that Mosswood uses to barrel-age their in-house umeshu. This is a limited release with only 290 bottles made.
