Sake and Shochu Gumi

Handmade, original, and unique! Join us all weekend for a super special *in-person* homewares popup with Yoka Good Things

From ceramic shochu cups to tea strainers to decorative items and everything in between, Sachi has brought a huge variety of handmade artisanal items directly from Japan. Every item is handmade and has been pains-takingly sourced from her hometown of Kumamoto.

No two items are alike, and everything will be available for purchase in person for two days only!

What is Yoka Good Things? Sachi writes:

Yoka means "good" in Japanese, specifically in the Kyushu dialect.

I want to introduce unique and thoughtfully created items from Kumamoto and Kyushu-related craftsmen and artists. All items are hand picked by myself.

Many of the products are something I grew up with. By sharing this part of my identity and sharing these craftsmen's history, their memories and personalities, I'm hoping it touches the hearts of the people who purchase them, and they're able to learn about Kumamoto and feel connected to my hometown.

My vision is that through these products you will learn about Kyushu and support the local craftsman, their families, which will create the "Yoka" cycle between the countries that brings us together.
