Sake and Shochu Gumi

On a cold December night, just days before Christmas, we hosted Peko-Peko for a night of HOT noodles! Sylvan and Hayato showed up with two big boxes of hand-pulled udon, plus roasted duck and leaks for garnish. And a huge pot for boiling the noodles! It was a wonderful event, full of hungry Martians waiting in line for Sylvan's excellent udon.























The bowl was just the right size for walking around Umami Mart for tachigui (eating whilst standing). Slurp + shop! The udon was a welcoming reprieve from the icy cold winter weather.

Thanks to everyone for coming out. And a big thanks to Jeremy for spinning all the jams. This event was such a sold-out success that we'll be doing it again in January. Stay tuned!
