In this hot, humid climate in Chengdu, it's already cherry season. Bright red cherries are everywhere on these fruit bike stands parked in front of restaurants and street corners.

Cherry season coincides with fresh lychees and watermelons -- all perfect accompaniments to spicy Sichuan cuisine.
