This usunigori (light nigori) is a limited nama (unpasteurized) offering from Yamaguchi Shuzo. Unlike traditional nigoris with sakekasu (sake lees) that makes the sake look nearly opaque, this light nigori very fine bits of sakekasu giving it the appearance of thin rice paper. We love that it's more savory than sweet, but still has fresh and fruity aromas of kyoho grapes and cucumber.
