Brewed using Miyazaki-grown chestnuts, this stout beer is rich with flavors of nuts, herbs, and sweet chestnut, with espresso and brown sugar on the nose. We love that this beer is nutty, velvety, solid, and full-bodied while maintaining a hint of tartness, much like a chestnut fruit.  

Situated on the foot of a sacred mountain featured in ancient Japanese mythology, Hideji Brewery specializes in craft beer using local, natural ingredients. Homemade malt, natural water, local yeast, and local citrus are all used to create unique and delicious brews, often matured over months to years to ensure a smooth and refreshing flavor.
