Attention all cheese lovers! Join us at our bar in Oakland for our annual Sake Gumi Social event, Sakqueso!, where we pair sakes with cheese. Sake and cheese are both rich in lactic acid, making them ideal accompaniments. The ticket price includes three glasses of sakes, featured in this month's Sake Gumi selections, paired with a cheese.

We will be pairing 3 sakes from our August Sake Gumi selections with 3 different cheeses*. Here is the menu:
Echigo Junmai by Yoshinogawa Brewery
with a French mild double cream soft cheese
Junmai Kimoto by Kurosawa Brewery
with an Italian aged cheese
Nanotsuki 80 Junmai by Tsukinoi Brewery
with an English blue cheese
*cheeses may vary depending on availability
