We're super excited to announce our Fifth Annual Japan Beer Fest with The Trappist! It's hard to believe that we have been presenting this event since 2014, always with The Trappist, in conjunction with SF Beer Week. Thanks to all of our guests throughout the years to keep Japan Beer Fest going strong!
As always, we will serve over 25 Japanese craft beers including Hitachino, Baird Brewing, and Coedo Brewery on tap! In conjunction with our Love Yuzu festival, we'll be featuring many beers containing yuzu – so all you yuzu lovers be sure to come out!
Plus, we’ll have a Yuzu Beer Slushie! What is a Beer Slushie, you ask? Essentially, it’s a frozen “head” of foam that floats atop the beer, like a soft serve topper.
Oakland’s favorite punk rock pop-up restaurant, Aburaya serving Kamikaze Dogs plus there will be a fun DJ set with Hair Thing, spinning J-pop tunes.
Although the festivities will take place at the Trappist, Umami Mart will be open during Japan Beer Fest, so you can shop during the event. See you there!
