Collaborative whiskies between distilleries is a practice common in Scotland that few Japanese distilleries have undertaken until now – we are honored to release a few coveted bottles each of the Ichiro x Mars 2021 collaboration whiskies!
These bottles are like unicorns and we thought we should put a fair price on them instead of charging for one of your organs. We'll be serving flights of these two extremely special whiskies at our bar from May 13-15 (Friday through Sunday), and you'll have a chance to buy a bottle for yourself through a raffle drawing when you purchase a flight. Visit the bar as many times as you'd like this weekend to increase your chance at a bottle!

About Ichiro's Malt Double Distilleries 2021 - Mars x Chichibu Blended Malt Whisky
A blended malt whisky comprised of over 51% Ichiro's Malt and blended with Komagatake Malt. Both juices are aged for a minimum of five years, but this one is finished in the temperate climate around Chichibu Distillery in Saitama using a combination of ex-Bourbon, Sherry, and American Oak casks. Cherry, watermelon, stone fruit, and guava on the nose wrap themselves in warm, cinnamon-vanilla cake batter with a long lasting Dr. Pepper-like spice throughout. 53% ABV / US Release of 420 bottles
About Komagatake Malt Duo 2021 - Chichibu + Mars Blended Malt Whisky
A blended malt whisky comprised of over 51% Komagatake malt and blended with Ichiro’s Malt. Both juices are aged a minimum of five years, but this one is finished in the high elevation of Mars Shinshu Distillery in Nagano using a combination of ex-Bourbon, Sherry, and American Oak casks. Brine and seaweed complement bright yellow peach with a hint of bubblegum sweetness. Orange blossom and tobacco come through on a medium finish that lingers with a surprisingly soft mouth feel given the high proof. 54% ABV / U.S. Release of 1170 bottles
