American chefs are finally glomming on to the "secret" ingredient that's been beloved by the Japanese for years – Kewpie Mayonnaise. This Japanese condiment comes in a squeeze tube and gets its namesake from the happy cherubic baby printed on the packaging. Momofuku's David Chang once called Kewpie "the best mayonnaise in the world," and more and more professional and renowned chefs are using it in their kitchens. 

Full of rich umami flavor (thanks to delicious, delicious MSG), Kewpie Mayo also has a touch of sweetness and brightness to it. We love it on steamed broccoli, on french fries, in tuna or chicken salad, on a BLT or burger, but there are endless ways to Kewpie. As with all mayo, refrigerate after opening.
