We are so excited to host Paul Nakayama of Nankai shochu for a special tasting on Sunday 11/24! Nankai shochu is made from kokuto (black sugar cane) on Amami Island, in Kyushu. Nankai features two different shochus: their namesake shochu that is vacuum distilled, and the Gold, which is aged in American and French casks. Try both and talk to Paul about how to best enjoy these shochus – on the rocks or in a cocktail.
