We're taking our newly-released Umami Mart Junmai Sake on the road! Meet us in sunny Los Angeles to taste our flagship sake paired with Chefs Keisuke Akabori and Chris Ono's mouth-watering dishes at Yojimbo – a new fast casual spot serving up donburi and Japanese-American eats on Fairfax. 

Yojimbo recently opened to much acclaim and we're teaming up with them on this special event since Kei (Kayoko's brother) was a frequent collaborator while he lived in Oakland. Get ready to party down! We'll have a special kagamiwari (sake barrel breaking) ceremony then the food and sake will flow! There will be a taiko performance by Los Angeles Taiko Ensemble too!

Our Umami Mart Junmai Sake from Shiga, Japan, has aromas of grapeskin and strawberry with a full flavor of custard and fresh-steamed rice, finishing off with a satisfyingly crisp acidity. We love how versatile it is when pairing with food – we've enjoyed it with cheese, rib eye, yakitori, shellfish, and pasta. It will be phenomenal with Yojimbo's dishes!
