Since childhood, Yoko has been obsessed with gift wrapping and recently she's tapped into an even cooler gateway– wrapping with furoshiki! Furoshiki are square pieces of fabric that are part of Japanese popular culture. They are decorated with contemporary graphics and regardless of the material of the fabric, you will notice that there is always special care taken in its edges, sewn meticulously without any fraying. While they are still used to carry items (most commonly, you will see people wrap their bentos in furoshiki), they have become popular as a type of gift wrap.
Join us as Yoko shows us how to wrap gifts in furoshiki, from bottles to bags!
