Hot off the press! We are celebrating our second annual NamaFest, in conjunction with Sake Gumi's Namazake month, where we release fresh, crisp namazake (unpasteurized sakes). 

The event will include a presentation on Nama 101, plus we'll taste through the following sakes:

1. 2021 Kid Haru no Kunpu Nama Nama Junmai Ginjo (included in the NamaFest Pack)
2. 2021 Moon on the Water Nama Nama Junmai Ginjo  (included in the  NamaFest Pack)

This year, we are elated to feature two very special, limited 2021 Spring nama bottles in the NamaFest Pack:

2021 Kid Haru no Kunpu Nama Nama Junmai Ginjo

Haru no Kunpu or Spring Breeze, signals the new season with aromas of blooming plum and apricot flowers, with a crisp, dry finish. Notice the pillowy, marshmallow-like texture, highlighted by a luscious wild cherry aroma. To emphasize the freshness of spring, this sake is a nama nama (unpasteurized) and should be enjoyed within the season. 

2021 Fukucho "Moon on the Water" Nama Nama Junmai Ginjo

This seasonal nama (unpasteurized) version of one of our favorite junmai ginjos has an intense aroma of tropical fruit, violet, and strawberry. Like its pasteurized counterpart, this nama has a heavenly fragrance of sweet pineapples. Although this sake starts elegant and tropical, it delivers a long, bold finish full of pepper and spice.
