Upcoming Event: 2nd Annual Umami Mart Matsuri

Guess what? It's our birthday! We're turning TWO years old (can you believe?!?!?!) and as we promised, we are making our Matsuri festival an annual tradition and throwing yet another big bash to celebrate our summertime birthday (holla to the Leos). If you came to last year's Matsuri, you know how insane it is -- this year, we're inviting back some of our favorite collaborators and partnering with new friends too! We love being in Oakland, and partnering with our neighbors. We're sure it's gonna be a wild summer night: Kronnerburger will be out on the sidewalk flipping burgers, Bootleg Creamery will be serving Japan-inspired ice cream scoops, Casa de Kei will offer fresh ceviche with his house-made rice crackers, and Team Print Shop will be live-screenprinting beer coozies! Inside, Cory from Selection Massale and Bradford from Ordinaire will be pouring wine, and our back door will lead you to Izakaya Trappist, where Chef Mike will be grilling yakitori and serving cans of beer from Japan! You'll find Tamarindo back there too, serving Tako (octopus) Tacos! And no Umami Mart party can officially start until DJ Chungtech gets here to spin her J-pop jams.
