Merry Christmas everyone! I just woke up from yet another nap. I am sorry I have been neglecting thee, but after a full recovery day from this crazy last month, I will be fully devoted to you again.
I actually got a tree this year, for the first time in about 20 years. It was very last minute -- Rie texted me that her studio mates were giving out free Xmas trees. I could not refuse. I've decorated it with retro lights, canned fish from Japan and Portugal, and a long plastic tube of dulce de leche gifted to me from Brasil by Umami Mart writer Bryan Sanders. I even managed to put a few gifts under the tree, from Umami Mart of course!
For the rest of the afternoon, I plan to watch Hollywood cop movies from the 80s (Die Hard 2 and Lethal Weapon 3 and 4), drink cocktails, and eat shabu shabu till I pass out.
