6th Annual Japan Beer Fest

It's hard to believe we've been putting on Japan Beer Fest (JBF) with The Trappist for six years now – and even harder to imagine that this year was the very first time it rained! Our lucky streak of sunshine could not have lasted forever. Despite the day of downpours however, we had our most successful JBF yet – with 1000+ attendees, and sold out glasses of Ruben's Sansho Saison, Beer Slushies, Aburaya Fried Chicken Sandwiches, and Sansho Cookies by Gold Bakery! 

Thank you to everyone who came out and waited in the rain for food and beers, and visiting us at Umami Mart. The shop was buzzing throughout the day, and Yoko and I loved seeing all the familiar faces that come to this event every February. It's always such a blast, and although you'd think we're veterans at this event by now, we're astonished by how much it continues to grow each year.
