We've all been patiently waiting for Itani Ramen to open its doors. The time has come... THIS WEEKEND! Kyle Itani, co-owner of Hopscotch restaurant, has been working on this project for years -- we even went to his Ramen Nights at Hopscotch, way back when. Yes, opening a late-night ramen spot has always been a dream of Kyle's and we are so excited that it's happening!

Located right across the Fox Theater in Oakland in the Uptown district, Itani Ramen will showcase the casual, no-frills nature of a traditional ramen-ya. They'll make the noodles in-house and the gyoza will be made from an actual gyoza-making machine from Japan. Yoko and I went to check it out last week, it was rad! And the gyozas are truly delicious!

Saturday March 19 - Sunday March 20: 6pm - Midnight
Friday March 25 - Sunday March 27:
6pm - Midnight
Friday April 1 - Sunday April 3: 6pm - Midnight
Friday April 8 - Sunday April 10: 6pm - Midnight

After these dates, Kyle will take a short break and will hopefully be back with a full-time schedule.
