OPENharvest Trip (Video)

This is a short video by Tokyo-based photographer Nahoko Morimoto, which marvelously captures Yoko and my trip to Japan with the OPENharvest team. We spent three jam-packed weeks visiting farms, markets, taking brewery/distillery tours, and eating + drinking our way through Japan--all culminating in a huge event at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo.
I'm back in Oakland now, trying to get over my jetlag (COFFEE!), unpack, settle in, and get back into my routine. I hope to start blogging about our trip little by little in the upcoming weeks. It was truly a monumental trip that I have not completely digested yet. It's all still a dreamy blur.
I would like to extend the warmest thanks to Sam White (OPENrestaurant) and Sylvan Mishima Brackett (Peko Peko Catering) for giving us the opportunity to be a part of such an awe-inspiring project. Big thank you to Taichi Manabe and the Food Light Project team on the ground in Tokyo for helping make all of this a reality.
