Upcoming Event: Father's Day Japanese Whisky Tasting (SF)

We're proud to present an event with Cask (a delightful beverage shop in SF) and Suntory (proprietor of Yamazaki, Hibiki and Hakushu whiskies), for an intimate seminar on Japanese whisky and tasting for Father's Day.

WHEN: Sunday June 17 at 1pm or 5pm

WHERE: Local Edition, a swank new underground bar in SF, located on Third + Market

WHAT:  Come spend some quality time with Dad (or any man in your life, for that matter) this Father's Day and learn about Japanese whisky!

In this comprehensive presentation given by Suntory's Neyah White, we will explore the history of Japan and the West through a series of barrel samples. While one can certainly appreciate Japanese whisky by simply tasting it and comparing it to the whiskies of the West, to really understand it you must have context. These 'component' whiskies not only serve to show how Suntory creates their finished products, but tell the story of why they are made that way.

This $100 ticket is good for:
+ Admission of two adults for the seminar and tasting event on June 17, given by Suntory's Neyah White
+ One bottle of Hibiki 12 year whisky
+ The whisky will be specially wrapped in a traditional Japanese furoshiki cloth, designed by artist Shinsuke Kawahara
