Sake and Shochu Gumi

Remember when Yoko and I went to Japan last year with the OPEN crew? God, it seems like forever ago. We had so many rad, eye-opening opportunities, like rice harvesting in Niigata, visiting farms in Nagano and organizing a line of pop-ups on a busy street in Shibuya. Wow!

Yoko and I will be reuniting with the OPENharvest gang at the Headlands Center for the Arts next Thursday night (3/29), where we'll be sharing stories, photographs, and artifacts from our massive experience. There will be RAMEN made with local ingredients (of course!) and Yamazaki whisky highballs (hooray!).

Find me and Yoko manning the "Radiation Station" where we'll be featuring our Radiation + Japan video series, and recapping our Pecha Kucha presentation from January.

Tickets are $25/ $20 for Headlands members. Buy tix here.

OPENharvest collaborators include: Sasha Bernstein, Aya Brackett, Sylvan Brackett, Howie Correa, Sam Fuller, Charlie Hallowell, Kelly Ishikawa, Jerry Jaksich, Susan Kim, Chris Kronner, Tal Mor, Jessica Niello, Stacie Pierce, Yuko Sato, Jeremy Tooker, Jerome Waag, Jonathan Waters, Sam White, David Wilson, Sasha Wizansky, Melissa Wong, Renata Yagolnitzer.

We hope to see you next Thursday!
