We're excited to announce upcoming events with collaborators in San Francisco that we greatly admire. 18 Reasons and MUJI!

The first event is coming up this next Monday 8/18 at 18 Reasons in San Francisco. Yoko and I will be exploring the concept of U M A M I: its roots, definition, examples and tastings. We'll also be demonstrating how to make dashi and with that, miso soup! We presented a similar talk with Oaktown Spice Shop last year and it was loads of fun. Informative too! Come join us!

We were so amazed to get a phone call from MUJI's San Francisco headquarters, asking us to put on a seminar on summertime drinks. Hell yah! We love MUJI, the minimalist retail shop from Japan who in the last decade has expanded its homebase to NYC, SF and LA. The San Francisco shop is in a discreet neighborhood in the SOMA district. Its lofty space is ideal for a fun talk and demonstration of how to make summery, non-alcoholic drinks. I've made up two new recipes for this special event, stay tuned!
